ARCHAEOLOGICAL/ARCHITECTURAL SCREENPRINTING PROJECT, ROME
This project involves the production of a series of silk screen prints featuring several archaeological and architectural sites in Rome and around Napoli, layered with contemporary artistic expressions and movements such as Parkour. Several sites will be visited and source drawings made from them. The original drawings represent, in a preparatory form, what is intended to be reproduced with further layers in full colour at A2 size.
The proposal is to offer four silk screen prints for £1000 (or an individual print for £300) and to deliver them before Christmas 2016. The funds will allow for covering of professional expenses in Rome, including art materials and screen print studio hire for the two months required to complete the project. I will be updating this page with preparatory drawings as they develop. Deadline: 20th November 2016.
